Strikeforce grand prix winner, Daniel Cormier makes the move over to the UFC heavyweight roster. He went 5-0 during his stint with Strikeforce, including notable victories over Antonio Silva and Josh Barnett. Cormier most recently defeated Dion Staring by second round TKO at Strikeforce: Marquardt vs Saffiedine.

Frank Mir had a three-fight win streak snapped in his title shot opportunity, getting stopped by Junior dos Santos in the second round by TKO. His last victory was a first round submission win, when he broke Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira’s arm with a kimura at UFC 140.

Dan Hardy won his second consecutive fight at UFC on Fuel TV with a dominant unanimous decision over Amir Sadollah. His first round knockout of Duane Ludwig at UFC 146, snapped a four-fight losing streak which dated back to March of 2010.

Matt Brown looks for continued success in 2013 after posting an impressive 4-0 record in 2012. Three out of the four victories he won by stoppages, including a highlight reel second round KO of Mike Swick at UFC on FOX 5.
