Jorge Masvidal went an impressive 5-1 under the Strikeforce banner, with his only defeat coming by way of unanimous decision to current lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez. His last three victories inside the cage have come by way of decision, including wins over Billy Evangelista, KJ Noons, and most recently Justin Wilcox.

Tim Means made his UFC debut in February, earning a unanimous decision victory over Bernardo Magalhaes. He then followed up that performance, with an even more impressive one, stopping Justin Salas by TKO shortly after the one-minute mark in the first round at UFC on FX 3.

Former WEC roster member, Anthony Njokuani is in dire need of a win, having lost two out his last three fights in the UFC.  He holds a unanimous decision victory against John Makdessi at UFC 145, which is sandwiched by decision losses to Danny Castillo and Rafael dos Anjos.

Strikeforce transfer, Roger Bowling drops to the lightweight division after beginning his career as a welterweight, amassing an 11-3 record. He’s won two of his last three fights, including knockout victories against Jerron Peoples and Brandon Sailing, but was defeated by future Strikeforce champion, Tarec Saffiedine by unanimous decision.
