The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale was originally supposed to be headlined by a flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and John Moraga, but Johnson suffered a broken hand in training and has been pulled from the card. Top bantamweight contenders, Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen will now meet in the main event.

Urijah Faber looked extraordinary at UFC 157, submitting Ivan Menjivar in the first round with a standing rear naked choke. He’s now 3-2 in his tenure with the UFC, losing to Dominick Cruz and Renan Barao in title shot opportunities. Other wins for Faber in the UFC include a decision win against Eddie Wineland and a submission victory over Brian Bowles.

Scott Jorgensen snapped a two-fight losing streak with a first round submission victory over John Albert at UFC on FOX 5. He previously lost back-to-back contests against Renan Barao and Eddie Wineland. In December of 2010, Scott Jorgensen fought Domincick Cruz for the WEC bantamweight title, but came up short losing a unanimous decision.
