Long time MMA veteran, Julie Kedzie transfers over from Strikeforce to the UFC on the heels of a two-fight losing streak. Most recently, she lost to the former women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate by third round armbar in one of last year’s most exciting fights. Kedzie’s most recent victory was a unanimous decision win over Kaitlin Young at a Jackson’s MMA Series event in April of 2011.
Former kickboxing world champion, Germaine de Randamie is just 3-2 in her mixed martial arts career, but has improved with each fight, winning her last three out of four fights. In her last fight, De Randamie defeated highly touted Japanese fighter, Hiroko Yamanaka with a dominant unanimous decision victory at Strikeforce: Rousey vs Kaufman.
