The Ultimate Fighter 15 winner, Michael Chiesa remained unbeaten in his young mixed martial arts career with a second round submission victory over Anton Kuivanen at UFC 157. It was the second victory in the UFC for Chiesa, also defeating Al Iaquinta with submission stoppage win in the opening round of the show’s finale.

Following wins over Josh Koscheck, Jacob Volkmann, and Mike Swick, Paulo Thiago was considered one of the top prospects in the UFC’s welterweight division.
