Brett Cooper lost his chance at a word title following a first round knockout loss to Doug Marshall at 95. He had previously been on a five fight win streak, including tournament wins over Norman Paraisy and Dan Cramer.

Andreas Spang was eliminated in the quarterfinals of season eight’s middleweights tournament by Doug Marshall via first round TKO. Spang has now lost two straight fights since upsetting Brian Rogers in April of last year with a second round knockout.

Dan Cramer was eliminated in last season’s tournament in the semifinals by Brett Cooper, suffering a third round knockout loss in an epic back-and-forth battle between the two. He’s now 7-2 during his time in Bellator, including a tournament victory over Brian Rogers at Bellator 89.

Perry Filkins gets entry into a Bellator tournament for the first time, after earning an upset unanimous decision win over Jonas Billstein in November of last year. He’s now won five straight fights in his career, including a first round TKO victory over Louis Taylor at a CZ 40.
