Saad Awad filled in his as a last second replacement in last year’s lightweight tournament and made the most of his opportunity, making it to the finals following quick knockout victories over Guillaume DeLorenzi and Will Brooks. He fell just short of a chance at the Bellator strap, losing to David Rickles via second round TKO.

Former Ultimate Fighter alum, Martin Stapleton has been impressive since his time on the show, winning his last seven fights in the cage. Notable wins include a TKO stoppage victory over Andrew Fisher and most recently at decision win over Tommy Maguire at a Cage Contender event in December of last year.

Like many MMA fighters, Rich Clementi returns to action in less than a year following a retirement announcement after his submission loss to Marcin Held in the semifinals of season seven’s tournament. Clementi looked like his younger self in his quarterfinal match-up with Alexander Sarnavskiy, earning the upset split decision victory.

Rob Sinclair has been considered on the top UK lightweights for some time and now will get a chance to shine on the national stage. He currently is carrying a five-fight win streak, including a split decision victory over former UFC fighter, Andre Winner at BAMMA 10.
