Ildemar Alcantara improved his record to 2-0 inside the octagon at UFC on Fuel TV 10, earning a unanimous decision over Leandro Silva at 155-pounds, his normal weight class. Alcantara took a short notice fight against Wagner Prado as a light heavyweight in his UFC debut and submitted him in the second round.

Ultimate Fighter 16 alumni, Igor Araujo gets a shot in the UFC on the heels of a current four-fight win streak. Like many of his castmates, he wasn’t given a fight on the show’s finally, but earned a spot on the roster with a decision victory over another TUF veteran, Nic Herron-Webb at Flawless FC 3.

Allan Patrick brings a perfect 10-0 record with him to the UFC, with half of his career victories coming by way of stoppages (3 KO/TKO, 2 Sub). Most recently, Patrick earned a unanimous decision over Claudiere Freitas at Bitetti Combat 15 last May.

Despite not competing in the cage for nearly a year, Garett Whitely signs with the UFC, carrying a undefeated 5-0 record. He last competed in November of last year, submitting Evan DeLong in the second round at an Absolute Cage Fighting event. All five career victories have come by stoppages (2 KO/TKO, 3 Sub).

UK Fighter, Rosi Sexton had a three-fight win streak snapped in her UFC debut, dropping a unanimous decision to Alexis Davis at UFC 161. She previous had three straight victories against Sally Krunmdiack, Roxanne Modaferri, and Aisling Daly all under the Cage Warriors banner.

21-year old prospect, Jessica Andrade met former title challenger, Liz Carmouche at UFC on FOX 8, but was stopped in the second round via TKO, ending a two-fight win streak. Last victory for Andrade came in April, submitting Milana Dudieva at ProFC 47.

Pat Curran added to his already impressive resume with a first round destruction of highly-touted, Shahbulet Shamhalaev at Bellator 95. He became Bellator’s featherweight champion in March of last year, with a third round TKO victory over Joe Warren, and has since defended the belt twice, including a split decision win over Patricio Freire.

Daniel Straus earned a shot at a world title by winning Bellator’s season six featherweight tournament, with three-consecutive unanimous decision wins against Jeremy Spoon, Mike Corey, and Marlon Sandro. In October of last year, he took a warm-up fight with Alvin Robinson, submitting him in the second round.

UFC newcomer, Santiago Ponzinibbio appeared on the second season of the Ultimate Fighter: Brazil and earned a sport in the tournaments finale, but was forced out of the bout due to a snapped forearm suffered in the semifinals. Ponzinibbio has amassed an impressive record of 18-1 in his career, and currently carries a seven-fight win streak.
