Rick Hawn got his second straight victory since his return to the welterweight division, with a  unanimous decision win over Herman Terrado in the opening round of this year’s 170-pound tournament. Last year Hawn won season six’s lightweight tournament, earning a shot a Bellator gold, but was submitted by the champ, Michael Chandler, in the second round.

Brent Weedman also competed in season six’s lightweight tournament, making it to the finals, but lost a hard-fought decision to Rick Hawn. He has now returned to the welterweight division, where he’s spent most of his career, and has won back-to-back fights over Marius Zaromskis and Justin Baesman.

War Machine advanced to the semifinals of this year’s welterweight tournament with a second round submission win over Vaughn Anderson at Bellator 100. He’s now won three straight fights, including a knockout wins over UFC-veteran Roger Huerta and WEC-veteran Blas Avena.

Former Strikeforce fighter, Ron Keslar returned to action after nearly a year and a half long lay-off to defeat Luis Melo Jr by split decision in the opening round of this year’s tourney. He’s now currently on a five-fight win streak, including wins over former Ultimate Fighter alumnus, James Chaney and Dominic Waters.
