Just five days after the announcement of a headlining fight between Alexander Gustafsson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, a change was needed after Nogueira has been pulled from the fight with an undisclosed injury. British striker, Jimi Manuwa will replace Nogueira in the main event of a yet to be named UFC event in London.

Alexander Gustafsson came up just short on his bid at becoming the UFC’s light heavyweight champion, losing a razor-thin decision against Jon Jones at UFC 165 in a “Fight of the Year” candidate. The loss to Jones snapped a six-fight win streak, which included key victories over James Te Huna, Thiago Silva, and Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua.

Jimi Manuwa added to his perfect record with second round TKO victory over Ryan Jimmo at UFC Fight Night 30, now 14-0 as a professional. All fourteen of Manuwa’s wins have come by stoppages (13 KO/TKO, 1 Submission). Other UFC victories include TKO wins over Cyrille Diabate and Kyle Kingsbury.
