It wasn’t pretty, but Thiago Silva earned his second straight victory at UFC Fight Night 29, with a unanimous decision win over Matt Hamill. The win streak comes after a two-year stretch where Silva lost two fights and had two victories overturned due to positive drug tests. He returned from a six month suspension for marijuana in June, and stopped former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Rafael Cavalcante in the first round by knockout.

Since February of 2010, Ovince St Preux has amassed an impressive 11-1 record, including a current 2-0 streak in the UFC. He made his promotional debut at UFC 159, earning a technical decision victory against Gian Villante. Most recently, he knocked out Cody Donovan in stunning fashion last August at UFC Fight Night 26.

Robert McDaniel had a seven-fight win streak end at UFC Fight Night 27, losing a unanimous decision to Brad Tavares. The win streak began in June of 2010, with six of seven fights ending in stoppages, including a third round submission win over Gilbert Smith in his UFC debut.

Ultimate Fighter 17 alum, Tor Troeng earned plenty of new fans in defeat at UFC Fight Night 28, showing incredible heart in a three round war with Rafael Natal but ultimately lost by unanimous decision. The loss snapped a five-fight win streak, which included a first round submission win over Adam Cella in his UFC debut.
