Widely considered one of the top welterweight prospects in the UFC, Erick Silva is still searching for that key victory that places him among the elite, following a second round knockout loss to Dong Hyun Kim at UFC Fight Night 29. He’s traded wins and losses since his debut in August of 2011, including spectacular showings in victory against Luis Ramos, Charlie Brenneman, and Jason High. Losses include a disqualification against Carlo Prater in a fight he was clearly on the way to winning, and a hard-fought decision loss to Jon Fitch.

Nate Loughran returns to the UFC for the first time since his release in December of 2008, following a 1-1 stint with the promotion. He took a three year break from the sport, but returned in March of last year and earned a split decision victory over long-time MMA vet, Jamie Jara. After another lengthy absence, Loughran defeated Kito Andrews at Tachi Palace Fights 17 by unanimous decision to win their welterweight world title.

Rodrigo Damm got his second UFC victory at UFC on Fuel TV 10 with a closely-contested split decision victory over Mizuto Hirota. He’s now 2-1 in the UFC, including a submission win over Anistavio Gasparzinho  and  decision loss to Antonio Carvalho.

Ivan Jorge took a short notice fight in the welterweight division at UFC Fight Night 28 to get his shot in the UFC, and defeated Keith Wisniewski by unanimous decision. He’s now won seven straight victories in his career, with his previous six wins all coming by submission stoppages.
