Luke Rockhold got his first promotional victory at UFC Fight Night 35, stopping Costa Philippou in the first round by knockout on the card’s main event. His UFC debut loss to Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX 8, snapped a nine-fight win streak, which included a unanimous decision win over Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza to win the Strikeforce middleweight title.

Tim Boetsch got a much-needed win at UFC 166, earning a closely-contested split decision victory over CB Dollaway. The win snapped a two-fight losing streak, which had Boetsch losing consecutive fights to Costa Philippou and Mark Munoz.

Phil Davis his winning streak to three in the UFC’s light heavyweight division, with a highly-controversial unanimous decision win over Lyoto Machida at UFC 163. Other wins during the streak include a submission victory over Wagner Prado and a unanimous decision win over Vinny Magalhaes last April.

Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson returns to the UFC following a six-fight win streak, since his release from the promotion in January of 2012, following a loss to Vitor Belfort. Despite a fairly decent record of 7-4 with the promotion, Johnson was released for continually missing weight. Notable wins during his current streak include knockout victories over Jake Rosholt, DJ Linderman, and Mike Kyle, along with a unanimous decision win over Andrei Arlovski.
