Koch is undefeated in five fights, but hasn’t been steadily active in the sport since his professional debut in January of 2007. Last time out, he earned a unanimous decision over Anatol Grama at a Iowa Challenge event last April.

Featherweight prospect, Brian Ortega picked up his first notable victory in his last fight, submitting Jordan Rinaldi in the third round at Resurrection Fighting Alliance 9. He remains a perfect 7-0 in his career, with four of those victories coming by submission stoppages.

In the co-main event, UFC veterans Kevin Casey (6-3) and Eddie Mendez (7-2-1) meet in a middleweight battle. Also, undefeated welterweight prospect Jonathan Rivera (4-0) takes on James Moontasri (5-1).

Former Bellator bantamweight champion, Zach Makovsky will meet up-and-comer Matt Manzanares for the Resurrection Fighting Alliance flyweight title in the main event at RFA 11.

Zach Makovsky became Bellator’s first ever 135-pound champion, defeating Ed West in the season three finale by unanimous decision. After two non-title fight victories, Makovsky lost his belt to Eduardo Dantas after he was submitted in the second round at Bellator 65. He then was upset by Anthony Leone by split decision and was surprisingly released from the promotion shortly after. Makovsky then dropped to the 125-pound division and earned a unanimous decision over Claudio Ledesma at CFFC 24.

Matt Manzanares showed why he’s considered one of the top flyweight prospects in the United States with a second round submission win over Steve Swanson (UFC’s Cub Swanson’s brother) at RFA 9. It was his second win in a row, since suffering his first career loss to Aaron Ely back in June of last year.
