Michael Bisping lost his chance to face Anderson Silva for the UFC middleweight title, when he was knocked out by Vitor Belfort in the second round at UFC on FX 7. Previous to  that, he had won five of his last six fights, only dropping a razor thin decision to Chael Sonnen in January of last year.

Alan Belcher looks to put his name back in title contention, following his unanimous decision loss to Yushin Okami at UFC 155. The loss snapped a four-fight winning streak that included wins over Wilson Gouveia, Patrick Cote, and Rousimar Palhares.

Last time out, Jim Miller defeated Joe Lauzon by unanimous decision in a brawl which was named “Fight of the Year” by Sherdog. Miller has gone 2-2 since August of 2011, with wins over Lauzon and Melvin Guillard, while his losses were to Ben Henderson and Nate Diaz.

Pat Healy will finally get a chance to prove he is among the world’s best after several plans to face Strikeforce lightweight champion, Gilbert Melendez were squandered by injuries. Healy is on a six-fight win streak including wins over Maximo Blanco, Caros Fodor, and Kurt Holobaugh.

Alan Belcher’s quest for a title shot has never been so close to fruition. He’s won four consecutive fights in the octagon, all four by stoppages, including wins over Wilson Gouveia, Patrick Cote, and Jason MacDonald. Belcher put himself in the top echelon of the UFC middleweight division with a first round TKO victory over Rousimar Palhares at UFC on Fox 3.

Former title contender, Yushin Okami snapped a two-fight losing streak after defeating Buddy Roberts by second round TKO at UFC 150. Previously, Okami lost back-to-back fights against Anderson Silva and Tim Boetsch, a fight he was clearly winning until Boetsch got the surprising third round TKO finish.
