Ben Rothwell likely kept his UFC job alive with a first round knockout of Brendan Schaub at UFC 145. The win was his first since his abysmal performance in a unanimous decision loss to Mark Hunt in September of last year.

Gabriel Gonzaga returned to the UFC in January and defeated Ednaldo Oliveira via first round submission following a one-fight stint in the regional circuit. The win was his eighth inside the octagon, most notably known for his head kick knockout of Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic at UFC 70.
