Since losing to uber-prospect Edson Barboza in his UFC debut, Lucas Martins has now won back-to-back fights in the octagon. He rebounded from the Barboza loss with a third round knockout victory over Jeremy Larsen at UFC on FX 8. Martins then dropped two weight classes to the bantamweight division, and ran through Ramiro Hernandez, earning the submission win in just a little over a minute into the opening round at UFC Fight Night 28.

Top ranked bantamweight, Aljamian Sterling, finally signs with the UFC following a perfect 8-0 record to begin his career. Notable victories include a decision win over flyweight prospect, Sean Santella at a CFFC 11, and a first round submission win over Joel Roberts last November.

Bryan Caraway rebounded from a controversial split decision loss to Takeya Mizugaki at UFC on Fuel TV 8, stopping Johnny Bedford in the third round with a guillotine choke at UFC 159. He’s now 3-1 in the UFC since his time on the fourteenth season of the Ultimate Fighter, including submission wins over Dustin Neace and Mitch Gagnon.

Jessica Eye proved an extra ten-pounds won’t be a problem for her after earning a split decision victory over perennial top contender, Sarah Kaufman in her UFC debut. She’s now won eight-straight fights in her career, including key wins over Angela Magana, Zoila Frausto Gurgel, and Carina Damm.

Johnny Bedford earned his second knockout victory in as many fights in the UFC, with a second round stoppage of Marcos ‘Vina’ Vinicius at the TUF 16 Finale. In his debut, Bedford dominated Louis Gaudinot for nearly 12-minutes, until earning the mercy TKO victory in the final frame.

Last time out, Bryan Caraway was on the losing end of a razor thin split decision to Takeya Mizugaki at UFC on Fuel TV 8. The loss snapped a three-fight win streak, which included two submission victories over Dustin Neace and Mitch Gagnon in his first two fights in the UFC.

Takeya Mizugaki hasn’t won or lost consecutive fights since snapping a five-fight win streak in a loss to Miguel Torres at WEC 40 in April of 2009, dropping a hard-fought decision to the former bantamweight champion. In the UFC, he’s gone 3-3, most recently earning a unanimous decision victory over Jeff Hougland at UFC on Fuel TV 6.

Bryan Caraway earned his second win in the UFC, with a third round submission win over Mitch Gagnon at UFC 149. The win was his third consecutive victory, which also includes a second round submission over Dustin Neace in his UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 14′s season finale.

Alex Caceres put together back-to-back wins for the first time in the UFC with a split decision victory over Motonobu Tezuka at UFC on Fuel TV 6. Previous to that, he stopped Damacio Page in the second the second round with a triangle choke. Caceres’ only lost since November of last year was a split decision loss to Edwin Figueroa at UFC 143.

Road FC’s bantamweight champion Kyung Ho Kang makes his UFC debut on the heels of a three-fight win streak, including a second round submission victory over Andrew Leone to become the Korean organization’s title holder.
