Highly-touted prospect, Hacran Dias suffered only the second loss of his career at UFC on FX 8, dropping a unanimous decision to Nik Lentz. The defeat snapped a nine-fight win streak, which included a decision victory over Iuri Alcantara in his UFC debut.

Not long ago, Chris Cariaso was on the cusp of title contention in the UFC’s flyweight division, but now finds himself in dire need of a win following two straight losses in the octagon. Cariaso began his UFC career with a 3-1 record as a bantamweight, but then decided to drop to the 125-pound division and picked up a win against Josh Ferguson. Since, he’s lost back-to-back fights against John Moraga and Jussier da Silva.

Iliarde Santos will get a third opportunity to get a victory in the UFC, following a two-fight losing streak to begin his UFC career. He made his UFC debut in May, taking a short notice fight against Iuri Alcantara in the bantamweight division, but lost via first round knockout. Santos then dropped to his usual fighting weight, but was given the former #1 ranked flyweight Ian McCall, where despite fighting well, ultimately lost a decision.
