Officially, Yan Cabral hasn’t competed since September of 2011 when he submitted MMA legend, Kazushi Sakuraba in the second round at DREAM 17 in Japan. Cabral was supposed to be on the second season of the Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, but broke his hand during his win in the opening round of the tournament and was forced out of the show.

David Mitchell’s UFC record dropped to 1-3 after suffering a second round TKO loss to Mike Pierce at UFC 162. Mitchell earned his first win in the octagon in his previous fight, a unanimous decision victory over Simeon Thoresen in January of this year.

Mike Pierce extended his winning streak to three, with another clear-cut unanimous decision victory over Seth Baczynski at UFC on FX 6. He’s now 7-2 since March of 2010, with his only losses being controversial split decision defeats to Johny Hendricks and Josh Koscheck.

David Mitchell earned his first victory in the UFC with a unanimous decision win over Simeon Thoresen at UFC on FOX 6. After beginning his career a perfect 11-0, Mitchell lost back-t0-back decisions against TJ Waldburger and Paulo Thiago in his first two fights in the UFC.

Simeon Thoresen was successful in his UFC debut, defeating Beasm Yousef via second round submission at UFC on Fuel TV 2. The win was his third consecutive victory, but was snapped in his sophomore performance after getting knocked out in the first round by Seth Baczynski last September.
