Eddie Wineland fell short on his bid to claim UFC gold, losing to interim bantamweight champion, Renan Barao at UFC 165 by second round TKO. The loss snapped a two-fight win streak, which included wins over Scott Jorgensen and Brad Pickett.

Yves Jabouin has won four out his last five fights, dating back to August of 2011, but three of those wins were split decision victories. His only loss during that stretch came at UFC on Fuel TV 7, suffering a first round knockout loss to Brad Pickett. Last time out, Jabouin defeated Dustin Pague at UFC 161 by split decision.

Walter Harris suffered his first loss since May of 2011 in his UFC debut, losing a unanimous decision to Jared Rosholt at the Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale. He previously won four consecutive fights, including a first round knockout victory over current Maximum Fighting Championships heavyweight champion, Anthony Hamilton.

Nikita Krylov returns to the octagon for a second time, following an uninspiring effort in his UFC debut against Soa Palelei at UFC 161, losing by TKO in the third round. He’s now 3-3 in his last six fights, with all three victories coming by first round knockout.

Eddie Wineland snapped a two fight losing streak with a stellar second round knockout win over Scott Jorgensen at UFC on FX 3. The win was his first since the UFC/WEC merger, dropping two consecutive decisions to Urijah Faber and Joseph Benavidez.
