Strikeforce transfer, Estevan Payan made his promotional debut at UFC 160, but was dominated from start to finish despite showing great heart in en route to a unanimous decision defeat. The loss snapped a seven-fight win streak, which included Strikeforce victories over Alonzo Martinez and Mike Bravo.

Featherweight prospect, Robbie Peralta had a nine-fight win streak ended at UFC of Fuel TV 9, after a uninspiring effort against Akira Corassani and eventually lost a unanimous decision. Peralta started his UFC career 2-0 with wins over Mike Lullo and Jason Young.

Charles Oliveira held his own against former UFC lightweight champion Frank Edgar at UFC 162, but ultimately lost a unanimous decision. He’s now lost two straight in the octagon, including a first round knockout loss to Cub Swanson in September of last year. Oliveira’s last victory was a submission victory over Jonathan Brookins at the Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale.

Jeremy Larsen gets a rare third opportunity to get a UFC victory, following a 0-2 start with the promotion following his time on the fifteenth season of the Ultimate Fighter. He made his UFC debut in the show’s finale, but lost to Joe Proctor by first round TKO. Last time out, Larsen lost to Lucas Martins by third round knockout at UFC on FX 8.

Long-time UFC veteran, Jeremy Stephens is at a crossroad in his career, losing his last three fights inside the octagon. His last win came in June of 2011, defeating Daniel Downes via unanimous decision at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale. He has since lost back-to-back decisions against Anthony Pettis and Donald Cerrone, and most recently a knockout loss to Yves Edwards.

Estevan Payan makes the move to the UFC from Strikeforce on the heels of a seven-fight win streak dating back to November of 2009. He signed with Strikeforce in January of last year and earned back-to-back wins against Alonzo Martinez and Micheal Bravo.
