UFC 168

December 28th, 2013

Las Vegas, Nevada

MGM Grand Garden Arena

Jim Miller was on the short list for title consideration after beginning his UFC career with a 9-1 record, but has since fallen on harder times. He’s gone just 2-2 in his last five fights, including a submission loss to Pat Healy that was later overturned to a no contest after Healy tested positive for marijuana. Miller’s last victory was a unanimous decision victory against Joe Lauzon, which was a “Fight of the Year” candidate in 2012.

Fabricio Camoes has been out of action since July of last year, when he lost a closely-contested decision against Melvin Guillard at UFC 148. The loss snapped a three-fight winning streak, which included victories UFC-vets Steve Lopez and Efrain Escudero, as well as his first UFC win, a first round submission over Tommy Hayden.
