George Roop added another huge victory to his resume at UFC 160, stopping former WEC bantamweight champion Brian Bowles in the second round via TKO. He’s now won two straight fights in the octagon, including a unanimous decision win over Reuben Duran in March. Roop’s only losses since January of 2011 were a TKO loss to Cub Swanson and a controversial split decision loss to Hatsu Hioki at UFC 137.

Francisco Rivera returned from his suspension in solid form, earning a second round TKO victory over Edwin Figueroa at UFC 156. The win is technically his second victory in a row, after his win over Roland Delorme was overturned following a positive drug test in the post-fight testing.

Iuri Alcantara drops to the bantamweight division after suffering his first loss since November of 2009, snapping a 13-fight win streak. He began his UFC career with two consecutive unanimous decision victories over Felipe Arantes and Michihiro Omigawa, but most recently dropped a decision to promotional newcomer Hacran Dias at UFC 147.

Pedro Nobre tried to get on the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil”, but was ousted in the elimination round by Marcos Vinicius Borges via first round knockout. He’s won three out his last four fights in Brazil’s regional circuit, including a first round TKO victory over fellow prospect, Matheus Nicolau Pereira at Bitetti Combat 13 last December.
