Shane del Rosario was once considered one of the top heavyweight prospects in MMA, but back-to-back losses in the UFC to Stipe Miocic and Pat Barry has somewhat derailed his hype train. He began his career a perfect 11-0, including three wins under the Strikeforce banner, but now likely needs a win to keep his spot on the UFC roster.

Another top prospect, Guto Inocente will make his long anticipated UFC debut in the heavyweight division. When he makes his debut, he will have been out of action for 19-months, last time out earning a unanimous decision victory over Virgil Zwicker at Strikeforce: Barnett vs Cormier.

Siyar Bahadurzada saw a seven-fight win streak come to an end at UFC on Fuel TV 8, dropping a unanimous decision to Dong Hyun Kim. He previously made his UFC debut in April of last year, making a quick first impression with a 42-second knockout victory over Paulo Thiago.

John Howard returned to UFC for the first time since June of 2011 at UFC Fight Night 26, earning an upset split decision victory over TUF 18 runner-up, Uriah Hall. Howard was released from the UFC after a three consecutive losses in the octagon, followed a four-fight winning streak to begin his UFC career.

Uriah Hall fell just short on his quest to become the 17th victor of the Ultimate Fighter, when he lost a split decision to Kelvin Gastelum in the show’s finale. The loss snapped a three-fight winning streak, which included a decision victory over fellow prospect Nodar Kuduxashvilli at Ring of Combat 41.

John Howard returns to the UFC for the first time since his release from the promotion in June of 2011. Over the past couple years, he’s amassed a 6-1 record on the regional circuit, including a first round knockout victory over Chris Woodall last month at a CES event. Howard went 4-3 in his last stint in the UFC, beginning 4-0, but lost three consecutive fights prompting his release.
