Chris Camozzi snapped a four-fight win streak at UFC on FX 8, after he took a short notice replacement fight against one of the top middleweights in the world, Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza, and got submitted in the first round. During the streak, Camozzi earned key victories over Nick Catone, Luiz Cane, and Nick Ring.

The loss ended a 13-fight win streak to begin his career, including victories over Gian Villante, Nick Rossborough, and Robbie Lawler under the Strikeforce banner.

Ronny Markes extended his win streak to seven, after a unanimous decision victory over Andrew Craig at UFC on FX 7. He’s now 3-0 in the UFC, also including decision victories over Karlos Vemola and Aaron Simpson.

Yoel Romero made his highly anticipated Strikeforce debut in September of 2011, but spent the entire time taunting Rafael Cavalcante before getting knocked out in second round. He left a much better impression in his UFC debut, knocking out Clifford Starks in the first round with a flying knee at UFC on FOX 7.
