Mark Hunt’s unexpected winning streak in the UFC came to an end at UFC 160. Despite showing immense heart, he succumed to a third round knockout loss to former UFC champion, Junior dos Santos. Hunt previously won four straight fights in the octagon, including knockout victories over Chris Tuchscherer, Cheick Kongo, and Stefan Struve.

Antonio Silva came up short on his bid to become the UFC’s heavyweight champion at UFC 160, suffering a first round TKO loss to Cain Velasquez. Silva earned a shot at the world title with two straight knockout wins over Travis Browne and Alistair Overeem.

Junior dos Santos’ loss to Cain Velasquez snapped a ten-fight winning streak, dating back to May of 2008. During the win streak, he was a perfect 9-0 in the UFC, including notable wins against Fabricio Werdum, Cain Velasquez, and Frank Mir.

“The Super Samoan” Mark Hunt extended his winning streak to four, with a third round knockout victory over Stefan Struve at UFC on Fuel TV 8. Since losing his UFC debut to Sean McCorkle, Hunt has rattled off wins against Chris Tuchscherer, Ben Rothwell, Cheick Kongo, and Struve.

All four wins during the streak have come by way of stoppages, two submission wins against Pat Barry and Lavar Johnson and two TKO victories against Dave Herman and Stipe Miocic.

After being submitted by Sean McCorkle in his UFC debut, 38-year old Mark Hunt has rattled off three consecutive wins in the cage. Wins include knockout victories over Chris Tuchscherer and Cheick Kongo, along with a unanimous decision win over Ben Rothwell at UFC 135.
