Thiago Silva likely saved his spot on the UFC roster with a first round knockout win over Rafael ‘Feijao’ Cavalcante at UFC on Fuel TV 10. It was the first fight back from a six-month suspension following a positive test result for marijuana after his win (later overturned to a no contest) over Stanislav Nedkov. Silva was also suspended in 2011 for a year, after testing positive for PED’s following a fight win Brandon Vera.

Matt Hamill returned in September of last year from a yearlong retirement, defeating Roger Hollett by unanimous decision at UFC 152. The win snapped a two-fight losing streak with the win over Hollett, previously losing back-to-back fights against Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and Alexander Gustafsson.
