Mike Pierce extended his win streak to four following a second round TKO victory over David Mitchell at UFC 162. Pierce remains one of the most underrated fighters in the UFC, despite nine wins in one of the promotion’s toughest division. Controversial split decision losses to Johnny Hendricks and Josh Koscheck likely play apart of that.

Rousimar Palhares returns from his nine month suspension following an elevated testosterone level after his first round knockout loss to Hector Lombard at UFC on FX 6. After amassing a 7-4 record as a middleweight, Palhares will return to the octagon as a welterweight for the first time in his career. His name might be on the chopping block with a loss, following a two-fight losing streak, including the loss to Lombard and Alan Belcher.
