————————————————–

In the last couple weeks, the UFC on FOX 10 has lost two previously scheduled bouts, so UFC officials announced a replacement fight between George Sullivan and Mike Rhodes on less than two weeks notice. A heavyweight fight between Jared Rosholt and Olekisiy Oliynyk was scrapped when Oliynyk suffered an injury during training. On Saturday, it was announced that a welterweight tilt between Pascal Krauss and Adam Khaliev was pulled from the card for undisclosed reasons.

George Sullivan defeated UFC veteran, Greg Soto in April of 2012 via first round knockout to win the CFFC welterweight champion. He has since defended the title four times, including knockout victories over Julian Lane and Brandon Becker.

Recently crowned RFA 170-pound champion, Mike Rhodes earns a shot on the big stage on the heels of a current two-fight win streak, including his unanimous decision victory over Alan Jouban last October to win the RFA title. He’s 6-1 in his career, with his only defeat coming against highly-touted prospect and UFC breakout star, Brandon Thatch at RFA 7.
