At UFC 166, Diego Sanchez met Gilbert Melendez in what turned out to be a “Fight of the Year” candidate after an epic three round war which saw both fighters earn fight night bonuses, but it was Melendez who got the unanimous decision victory. Sanchez is now 1-1 since returning to the lightweight division, earning a decision victory of his own against Takanori Gomi at UFC on Fuel TV 8.

Myles Jury extended his perfect record to 13-0 at UFC 165, after getting a unanimous decision win over Mike Ricci. The Ultimate Fighter 15 alum is now 4-0 in the UFC, including wins over Chris Saunders, Michael Johnson, and Ramsey Nijem.

Highly-touted welterweight prospect, Alex Garcia lived up to the hype in his UFC debut, stopping Ben Wall in just 43-seconds into the first round by knockout. He’s now won five straight fights, with his only professional loss coming against fellow current UFC roster member, Seth Baczynski back in April of 2011.

After losing his UFC debut on a short notice middleweight bout against Rafael Natal last January, Sean Spencer has returned to his usual weight class at won two consecutive fights at 170-pounds. He earned a split decision victory over Yuri Villefort at UFC Fight Night 28, and more recently won another decision against Drew Dober at the Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale.
