Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Rafael Cavalcante had less than stellar UFC debut, running out of gas midway through the first round leading to a knockout loss to Thiago Silva at UFC on Fuel TV 10.  He’s now 1-2 in his last four fights, which includes a win over Mike Kyle being overturned to a no contest after failing a post-fight drug test for an illegal substance.

Igor Pokrajac likely needs a win to keep himself on the UFC’s 205-pound roster, following two straight losses in the octagon. Most recently, Pokrajac lost a unanimous decision to Ryan Jimmo at UFC 161. He had a three-fight win streak snapped in September of last year, after getting submitted by Vinny Magalhaes at UFC 152.

Rafael ‘Feijao’ Cavalcante returns following a year long suspension after testing positive to a banned substance following his TKO victory (overturned to a no contest) over Mike Kyle at Strikeforce: Barnett vs Cormier. He’s 4-1 since November of 2009, his only loss being a knockout loss to Dan Henderson.

Thiago Silva is likely out the good graces of the UFC following a second suspension due to a positive test of a banned substance, this time after his third round submission victory over Stanislav Nedkov. So, with two overturned victories, Silva has lost three out his last four fights, including losses to Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, and Alexander Gustafsson.

Erick Silva looks to rebound from a closely-contested unanimous decision loss to Jon Fitch at UFC 153 in Brazil. Silva has now gone 2-2 in the UFC, but one of his losses, he was disqualified against Carlo Prater for shots to the back of the head in a fight where he was clearly on the way to a stoppage victory. His last victory was a first round submission win over Charlie Brenneman at UFC on FX 3.

Since he debuted in January of 2009, John Hathaway has quietly gone 7-1 in the UFC, including a current three-fight win streak. Notable wins include decision victories over Rick Story, Diego Sanchez, and Pascal Krauss. Hathaway’s only professional loss was a unanimous decision to Mike Pyle at UFC 120.
