Keoni Koch, who is the older brother of current UFC standout Erik Koch, drops to the featherweight division for the first time for a chance at his first world title. Koch is undefeated in five fights, but hasn’t been steadily active in the sport since his professional debut in January of 2007. Last time out, he earned a unanimous decision over Anatol Grama at a Iowa Challenge event last April.

Former Bellator bantamweight champion, Zach Makovsky will meet up-and-comer Matt Manzanares for the Resurrection Fighting Alliance flyweight title in the main event at RFA 11.
Zach Makovsky became Bellator’s first ever 135-pound champion, defeating Ed West in the season three finale by unanimous decision. After two non-title fight victories, Makovsky lost his belt to Eduardo Dantas after he was submitted in the second round at Bellator 65. He then was upset by Anthony Leone by split decision and was surprisingly released from the promotion shortly after. Makovsky then dropped to the 125-pound division and earned a unanimous decision over Claudio Ledesma at CFFC 24.
Matt Manzanares showed why he’s considered one of the top flyweight prospects in the United States with a second round submission win over Steve Swanson (UFC’s Cub Swanson’s brother) at RFA 9. It was his second win in a row, since suffering his first career loss to Aaron Ely back in June of last year.
Welterweight prospect, Alan Jouban earned a signature win his last time out, stopping former UFC-veteran Chris Spang in the third round via TKO at RFA 8. He’s now won six-straight fights since suffering a knockout loss to Chidi Njokuani in his second professional fight, back in May of 2011.
Mike Rhodes rebounded from the first loss of his career with a 56-second knockout victory over Benjamin Smith at RFA 8. He previously lost to the highly-touted and current UFC roster member, Brandon Thatch by first round submission in his Resurrection Fighting Alliance debut.
Former UFC fighter and Ultimate Fighter alum, Justin Lawrence (4-2) will also make his RFA debut, when he meets Luis Saldana (7-1) in a featherweight match-up. Other notable fights include, Lyoto Machida’s older brother, Chizo Machida (1-2) taking on Bellator-veteran Justin Houghton (4-2), and five-time Bellator fighter EJ Brooks (7-1) meets John Case (12-4).
