Highly-touted prospect, Hacran Dias suffered only the second loss of his career at UFC on FX 8, dropping a unanimous decision to Nik Lentz. The defeat snapped a nine-fight win streak, which included a decision victory over Iuri Alcantara in his UFC debut.

Former DEEP lightweight champion, Katsunori Kikuno makes his UFC debut on the heels of five-fight win streak, with his last four victories coming by first round stoppages. Most recently, Kikuno submitted Yong Jae Lee in the first round via rear naked choke at DEEP 63 Impact.

Quinn Mulhern had a tough task in his UFC debut, meeting Rick Story on short notice and was stopped in the first round by TKO. He now drops to the lightweight division for the first time. The loss to Story snapped a three-fight win streak, with his most notable victory being a split decision win over Yuri Villefort at Strikeforce: Barnett vs Cormier.
