George Roop returns to the bantamweight division following two consecutive losses at 145 pounds. Roop’s last victory was in June of 2011, defeating Josh Grispi via third round knockout. He then lost a controversial split decision to Hatsu Hioki followed by a second round TKO loss to Cub Swanson.

Reuben Duran likely needs a win to keep his spot in the UFC roster following a first round knockout loss to Hugo ‘Wolverine’ Viana at The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale. It was Duran’s second loss in three fights in the UFC, with his only win being a third round submission victory over Francisco Rivera in June of 2011.

Issei Tamura was impressive in his UFC debut with a stellar second round knockout victory over Tiequan Zhang at UFC 144. He got a big step up in competition in his sophomore appearance in the octagon and came up short, losing to Raphael Assuncao via second round TKO.

The Ultimate Fighter season 14 runner-up, TJ Dillashaw has now won his last two fights inside the octagon since getting stopped in the first round of the season’s finale by John Dodson. Dillashaw has earned back-to-back victories against Walel Watson and most recently a first round submission victory over Vaughn Lee.

Jake Ellenberger rebounded from his June knockout loss to Martin Kampmann with a unanimous decision win over Jay Hieron at UFC on FX 5. The win was his seventh in eight fights, including notable wins against Diego Sanchez, Jake Shields, and Mike Pyle.

 Nate Marquardt looks to rebound from losing Strikeforce’s welterweight title, following a one-sided unanimous decision loss to Tarec Saffiedine in January. The loss snapped a two-fight losing streak, including a stellar fourth round knockout of Tyron Woodley at Strikeforce: Rockhold vs Kennedy.

Carlos Condit was unsuccessful at his first attempt at UFC gold, losing a hard fought unanimous decision to George St. Pierre at UFC 154. The lost snapped a five-fight win streak that dated back to September of 2009. At UFC 115, Condit stopped Rory MacDonald with a third round TKO in one of the greater fights in 2010.

Johny Hendricks extended his win streak to five with a stunning first round knockout victory over Martin Kampann at UFC 154. It was his second knockout in the three fights, including a seven-second knockout of Jon Fitch. Hendricks also carries decision victories against Mike Pierce and Josh Koscheck on his rise to title consideration.

Ricci is 3-3 professionally since November of 2009, beating Jordan Mein and prospect Jesse Ronson. Losses include current UFC roster member Daron Cruickshank  and Bellator featherweight champion, Pat Curran.
