The Ultimate Fighter 15 runner-up, Al Iaquinta finally returns to the octagon after injuries have kept him out for over a year. Not long ago, Jamie Varner was thought to be on the back end of his career going just 1-4-1 in 2010 and most of 2011. He has since gone 4-1, including a huge upset win over Edson Barboza in his return to the UFC in May of last year. Varner most recently defeated Melvin Guillard in dominant fashion, but one judge insanely scored the fight for Guillard causing the split decision.

Gleison Tibau can’t seem to advance past the gatekeeper role in the UFC’s lightweight division. He went a perfect 3-0 in 2011, but has traded wins and losses since the streak ended at UFC 148 with a decision loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Last time out, Tibau submitted John Cholish in second round at UFC on FX 8.

Yoel Romero made his highly anticipated Strikeforce debut in September of 2011, but spent the entire time taunting Rafael Cavalcante before getting knocked out in second round. He left a much better impression in his UFC debut, knocking out Clifford Starks in the first round with a flying knee at UFC on FOX 7.

Magnus Cedenblad had a seven-fight win streak ended in his UFC debut, suffering a second round submission loss to Francis Carmont at UFC on Fuel TV 2 last April. During his win streak, Cedenblad won four fights by knockout, two by submission, and one by decision in the Swedish regional MMA circuit. Injuries have kept him out of action for over a year.

Jared Hamman is in dire need of a win, winning just one in his last four fights. Most recently, he was stopped in the second round via TKO by Michael Kuiper at UFC 150. Hamman’s last victory came in August of 2011, earning a upset win over CB Dollaway with a second round TKO.

Tim Elliott picked up his ninth win in ten fights at the Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale, with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Jared Papazian. Other wins include stoppage victories over Jens Pulver and Josh Rave.  His only defeat since August of 2009, was a decision loss to John Dodson at UFC on FOX 3 in his promotional debut.

Chico Camus had a four-fight win streak come to an end at UFC 156, submitted by rising prospect Dustin Kimura in the third round. He was successful in his UFC debut, defeating Dustin Pague by unanimous decision in August of last year.

Kyung Ho Kang made his UFC debut at UFC on Fuel TV 8, losing a highly controversial split decision to Alex Caceres. The fight was later overturned to a no contest after Caceres tested positive for marijuana in the post fight drug screen. So officially, Kang is still on a three-fight winning streak, most recently submitting Andrew Leone at Road FC 8 in Korea.
