Dennis Siver was successful in his featherweight debut, when he defeated highly-touted Diego Nunes via unanimous decision at UFC on Fuel TV 2. He was nearing title contention in the lightweight division following a four-fight win streak, but a first round submission loss to Donald Cerrone prompted his move to 145-pounds.

Last time out, Nam Phan picked up the biggest win of his career with a split decision victory over Cole Miller at UFC on Fox 4. The win was his first since his one-sided unanimous decision loss to Jim Hettes that took place in December of last year.
