Alpha Male product, Danny Castillo returned to the win column at UFC on Fuel TV 7, with a unanimous decision victory over the submission specialist, Paul Sass. He previously had a three-fight win streak ended by Michael Johnson, suffering a second round KO loss last October.

Tim Means dropped a unanimous decision to former Strikeforce lightweight title challenger, Jorge Masvidal, snapping a nine-fight win streak dating back to October of 2010. The streak included a decision win over Bernardo Magalhaes and a knockout victory over Justin Salas under the UFC banner.

At 31 year’s old, Robbie Lawler got the biggest win of his long career with a first round TKO victory over former title contender Josh Koscheck at UFC 157. During his time with Strikeforce, he went just 3-5 in the middleweight division, earning victories over Melvin Manhoef, Matt Lindland, and Adlan Amagov.

In his UFC debut, Bobby Voelker had a three-fight win streak come to an end after losing a controversial decision to Patrick Cote at UFC 158. Voelker went 4-1 under the Strikeforce banner, with wins over Erik Apple, Cory Devela, and Roger Bowling.

The Ultimate Fighter 15 winner, Michael Chiesa remained unbeaten in his young mixed martial arts career with a second round submission victory over Anton Kuivanen at UFC 157. It was the second victory in the UFC for Chiesa, also defeating Al Iaquinta with submission stoppage win in the opening round of the show’s finale.

Strikeforce transfer, Jorge Masvidal was successful in his UFC debut, earning a unanimous decision against Tim Means at UFC on FOX 7. He’s now won four out his last fights, including victories over Billy Evangelista, KJ Noons, and Justin Wilcox. Masvidal’s only loss since September of 2010, was a decision loss to Gilbert Melendez in a Strikeforce lightweight title fight.
