Dustin Poirier proved once again that he remains one of the elite fighters in the UFC’s featherweight division with a decisive unanimous decision victory over Erik Koch at UFC 164. He’s traded wins and losses since February of last year, also earning victories over Max Holloway and Jonathan Brookins, both by submission. Losses were a fourth round submission defeat to Chang Sung Jung and a decision loss to Cub Swanson at UFC on Fuel TV 7.

Season 14 winner of the Ultimate Fighter, Diego Brandao extended his win streak to three inside the octagon after a one-sided unanimous decision victory over Daniel Pineda at UFC Fight Night 26. He’s now 4-1 in the UFC, including wins over Dennis Bermudez, Joey Gambino, and Pablo Garza.

Another loss might very well end the career of fan-favorite, Chris Leben, who has lost four out his last five fights, including a current three-fight losing streak. Last time in the cage, Leben didn’t have much to offer Andrew Craig, who dominated the fight despite the ludicrous split decision announcement. The last time Leben got his hand raised in the cage was after a 27-second knockout of Wanderlei Silva back in July of 2011.

Deemed as the “next Anderson Silva” on the last season of the Ultimate Fighter, Uriah Hall now likely needs a victory to keep his spot on the UFC’s middleweight roster following an 0-2 start to his UFC career. Hall made his UFC debut on the show’s live finale, but lost a split decision to Kelvin Gastelum in a shocking upset. He then made his sophomore appearance in the octagon at UFC Fight Night 26, but lost a lack-luster decision to John Howard.

Original Ultimate Fighter cast member and fan favorite, Chris Leben finds himself at the crossroads of his career. Losing three out his last four fights, he likely will find his way out of the UFC with another loss. Leben’s last victory was a 27-second knockout of Wanderlei Silva at UFC 132. Losses include TKO defeats to Brian Stann and Mark Munoz, and most recently a decision loss to Derek Brunson.

Andrew Craig suffered the first lost of his career at UFC on FX 7, dropping a unanimous decision to Ronny Markes. He began his UFC career with two straight victories over Kyle Noke and Rafael Natal.

Seth Baczynski had a six-fight win streak come to an end, when he lost a unanimous decision to criminally underrated Mike Pierce at UFC on FX 6. Baczynski won his first four fights in his return to the UFC, including stoppage victories over Clay Harivson, Matt Brown, and Simeon Thoresen.

Strikeforce transfer, Brian Melancon won his third bout in four fights with a unanimous decision victory over Felipe Portela at Strikeforce Challengers 19. His only loss since May of 2010 was a controversial split decision loss to Isaac Vallie-Flagg at Strikeforce: Overeem vs Werdum.

Chris Leben returns from a year-long suspension for testing positive for prescription painkillers, following his second round TKO loss to Mark Munoz back in November of last year at UFC 138. It was Leben’s second time testing positive for a banned substance during his tenure in the UFC. His last victory came at UFC 132, knocking out Wanderlei Silva in just 27 seconds in to the first round.

Derek Brunson makes his UFC debut on the heels of a two-fight losing streak. Most recently, he suffered a 41-second knockout loss to the hands of Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza at Strikeforce: Rousey vs Kaufman. Previous to that, Brunson lost a controversial spit decision to UFC veteran Kendall Grove last June at a SportFight event. Brunson began his Strikeforce career with three consecutive victories, earning wins over Jeremy Hamilton, Lumumba Sayers, and Nate James.
